In January 2019, Bespoke Travel, a South African based luxury travel agent, got in touch with us to see how we could help position them as a leading travel agent for high income travelers for their three core services;
Bespoke Travel did not have a website but did have regular clients built up over the last few years through word of mouth and referrals. The goal of Bespoke Travel coming to Inversion was threefold:
- Design a high class website that spoke to their ideal target market and serve as a resource for their current clientele,
- Display their core services to any new prospects that were considering Bespoke Travel through word of mouth,
- Incrementally grow their lead generation efforts from the website leveraging SEO. This allowed the business time to adjust to taking on new prospects.
Based on the goals above Inversion embarked on an initial discovery phase where we identified the target market of each service Bespoke offers and determined what they would be looking for when they landed on each page.
With the target market understood, we embarked on the next step which was keyword research to look for potential ranking opportunities on search engines by doing competitor research and keyword volume research to determine the wording needed to be written by our copywriters.
At the same time as keyword research and copywriting, our design team went to work on creating the mood board, design mockups and worked closely with Bespoke in collecting the right photography and video assets for each service page.
This exhaustive process of interviewing the client and understanding their target market motives, compiling keyword and competitor research is imperative to ensure the the website once launched actually produces results through organic ranking, drives leads and positions the company exactly as they need to attract the clients they want.
Bespoke required unique layouts per page due to their positioning as a high end travel agency for wealthy travelers. The imagery selected was of a high standard and fit in with the mood board we created at the very start to keep a consistent look and feel throughout.
