Andrew and Alan have been outdoor enthusiasts their entire lives and having vast experience selling scooters for over 20 years, the father and son duo saw an opportunity for branching out into electric bicycles. Since 2016 Ezy Bike has gone from an idea into a thriving business.

Business Situation

When Alan and Andrew approached Inversion Marketing in early 2016, their goal was to take Ezy Bike from concept to market as fast as possible.

The company had no branding, no website and no-one had ever heard of Ezy Bike. There were numerous other well established e-bike companies in South Africa however we saw a definite gap in the marketing of these companies we believed we could use to our advantage.

Inversion in Action

To get Ezy Bike up and running as quickly as possible and in the right way for long term growth in mind, we designed a high quality and optimised catalogue website with search engine searches and potential customers in mind, set up a photo shoot to create the branding and marketing materials needed to position Ezy Bike as a leader in their industry and setup all the necessary marketing pillars such as their social media accounts and installed data tracking.

Once the website was live, we embarked on a launch strategy of using a combination of Google Advertising and Facebook Advertising and built a highly informative and optimised landing page with the goal of generating leads for their email marketing and sales strategies.

Results

Ezy Bike has since late 2016 (6 months post launch) achieved a phenomenal 3500% increase in organic traffic to their website, plus since October 2017 they are currently generating 11 times more leads per month since the strategy started. Now that their business is thriving online, we are embarking on further improvements to their marketing efforts by designing their content strategy on both social media and their blog that we are confident will become the prime source of electric bike information in South Africa.
