Our creative, experienced team knew that such an important service need a website and branding that would set it apart from others in the industry, but also one which would encourage new members to join.
Our Customised Journey
We started our journey with OH Watch by speaking to the chairlady in order to understand the organisation, which would help us to create a website that drew in new members but also retained current ones.
Our research and meetings led us to the decision to create a flat website design to highlight what the OH Watch group stands for, showcase their values, and encourage people to engage with the organisation.
We also performed keyword research to see what people were searching for when looking for a neighbourhood watch group, as well as competitor research to see what trends were rising in the industry.
What Did We Deliver?
After we had completed our research, we came to the decision to create a flat design for the website.
A flat design is ideal for this type of community-driven organisation, as it focuses more on the content and messaging than it does on the usual design elements of a website.
Functional But Effective Flat Website Design
WordPress is the ideal platform for a flat website design, and so our expert team developed a sleek, user-friendly design that had an improved customer journey map and which focused on user experience and engagement.
We also took into account how people could go about reporting a crime to the OH Watch group. To make this a simpler process, we developed a front end crime submission map and system that allowed users to report crimes in the Oranjezicht Higgovale area with the simple click of a button.
