Cape TownHow do you revitalise a rehabilitation centre’s online presence?
This was the challenge we were faced with when Tharagay approached us to help them to improve their application numbers.
Tharagay is one of the oldest and well-known rehabilitation centres in Cape Town. It was established 25 years ago by a passionate and highly experienced owner, and has a significant success rate with its patients.
But despite these distinctions, they were being overtaken by newer and more tech-savvy entrants to the market. Our approach was to capture the existing demand that was already online and redesign their website and brand message to meet this demand.
Our Customised Journey
The Inversion Agency team realised that, in order for Tharagay to regain their position as the leading rehabilitation centre in Cape Town, we would need to take a customised approach to their website redesign and brand strategy.
We began our process with client interviews using Zoom in order to gain a better understanding of their establishment and its history, as well as their goals. We also attended on-site meetings to interview the client and improve our knowledge.
After these initial meetings and interviews, we hunkered down and performed in-depth SEO research into who Tharagay’s competitors were and what they were doing on their website and other platforms. We also performed keyword research using this information, in order to create a positioning statement that would help to guide Tharagay’s website design process.
What Did We Deliver?
After the Inversion team completed the research and interview phase, we came to the conclusion that a simpler and more impactful website design for Tharagay would help significantly in converting first-time visitors into clients.
Some of the aspects that we decided needed to be changed included the colour scheme psychology, trust factors, layout flow and imagery.
We created a positioning and strategy workshop within our agency for this project, in order to provide a website redesign that resonated with the Tharagay audience while also driving more applications.
To implement the SEO and keyword research we performed, we rewrote the copy on the website to improve the search engine results and organic reach. We also changed the tone to be more empathetic and appealing, in order to appeal to the target audience.
The website was streamlined for the user with and improved UX, especially in terms of the applications process. We optimised the speed of the website for an improved user experience and better SEO.
To improve the online presence of Tharagay, and to maintain their positioning online, we added all three of their locations to Google Maps, making them easier to find. We also applied local SEO to the maps and to the website itself.
To match the new bright, modern look, Tharagay had new photographs taken of their team and their leadership that were high-definition, updated, and accurate. Having friendly, professional images helped them to engage with their audience.
We provided a creative branding strategy, which included humanising the website by showcasing their staff and using a more empathetic tone and overall imagery.
Re-establishing A Renowned Rehabilitation Centre
The end results of our website redesign were positive and have helped to improve the application numbers for Tharagay and have re-established their authority in the industry.
The simplified user experience will help them to compete with others in the industry who are more tech-forward and modern.
We increased the local awareness of all three facilities, with the inclusion of the maps on each of these separate pages seeing an increase in engagement and website traffic.
We have provided them with a powerful brand website that positions them as the experts in the field once again.
