One of the many wonders of education is that it has no bounds. More specifically, it has no physical bounds. Learning no longer solely exists within the boundaries of a classroom … it’s a multifaceted art form that can (and should) be explored and enjoyed from every corner of the world.
And that is where Spires comes in.
Spires is the world's first marketplace for online tutors that grants individuals immediate access to world-leading educationalists, sought-after university lecturers, and gifted subject specialists … All in a matter of minutes.
The Spires team called on the Inversion team to help initiate a full brand platform strategy and brand refresh.
We were tasked with creating a brand, communications and marketing strategy as well as a brand refresh.
This was then followed by a website reskin, visually appealing social media organic content and paid social campaign visuals that would help set Spires apart from its competitors.
-Our lesson prep-
As it goes with all learning, our first course of action was to naturally begin with studying. With Google tabs open and notepads ready, we actively dove into the world of online education, leaving no stone unturned.
We analysed the website traffic and demographics to gain a better understanding of their audience sent out comprehensive surveys and explored the current pain points of learners across the globe.
Our findings? That “loneliness”, “time constraints”, and “pressure to perform” are the dominant audience pain points when it comes to learning. We took this information and knew exactly how to action it...
-The Test-
Unlike many who fear to test, we actually love it here at Inversion! This is where our team thrives. With our unique insights, knowledge and resources, we knew that this was a test we could easily ace!
We started on page one: the website. Our team actioned an entire website reskin that not only modernised the brand but also highlighted how easily accessible the platform was to use.
The rest of our testing focused on refreshing their online social media presence. While their previous content failed to showcase clear messaging, we looked to hyper focus on a key pain point for many students: procrastination.
We leaned into the reality that procrastination is a part of learning - and that’s okay!
Spires is equipped to help you deal with this reality and we integrated this theme throughout all of the social media content: we’re human beings. Procrastination happens.
-The final grade-
We were elated to see that our efforts yielded exceptional results. The website is now sleek, modern and simple to use, with a clear user journey and improved aesthetic. The rebrand highlights the simplicity of the platform and the diversity of the audience - which is EXACTLY what we hoped to achieve.
Our social media efforts were just as successful as they now actively help encourage and embrace learning at all ages, putting forward the overarching message of Spires: that anyone can be a student, at any age. At any time. In any location.
